Who we are
With over two decades of experience in lighting, design, and the creation of art, Adam Mendes brings a lifelong passion for craftsmanship, materiality, and thoughtful design to every piece created.
Alongside a longtime friend and collaborator with more than 20 years of experience as a metal and glass artisan and owner of a respected fabrication studio, George Agaronyan And Adam founded Bono Holt with a shared vision: to create exceptional lighting and furnishings that celebrate the skill, creativity, and craftsmanship of Los Angeles.
Each piece is born from a deep respect for the materials and the hands behind them. Blending artistic expression with decades of technical expertise, we design objects that are both functional and sculptural—pieces that bring warmth, character, and a sense of permanence to their surroundings.
Our work is rooted in the belief that Los Angeles is home to some of the world’s most talented makers, artists, and craftspeople. Our designs are produced in our shop locally, partnering with skilled artisans throughout the city to honor the rich tradition of making that defines LA.
